YAPPY PLACE™ was formed from my own desire to find Dog Friendly people, places, venues and events in Northeast Florida. It has proven to help make our community more Dog Friendly by yapping about these events. You can find me at many Dog Events from New Smyrna Beach to DeLand, from Orange Park and Jacksonville to Amelia Island.

It isn't easy for me to be the Pawsident of YAPPY PLACE, seeing as I am a Miniature Goldendoodle. But I do my best with the help of my pawrents, and aim to bring you every little dog thing that Northeast Florida has to offer.
When I'm just being a dog, I like to sniff stuff, play with my doggie friends and be a goofball.
The Howards rescued me in November, 2011. My weekends are now full of fun, as YAPPY PLACE's Outreach Pawdinator, I get to hear about and attend lots of BYOD events. BYOD? That's Bring Your Own Dog, of course!
My pawrents had a DNA Test (they purchased from the Jacksonville Humane Society) done to see what breeds are in my line. It turns out I'm a unique mix - they call me a "Shipoorkie" - 25% Shih Tzu, 25% Miniature Poodle and 50% Yorkie. Now that's fun to know!
When it's a big dog event, you might find me with my family... camera in hand, making sure that Northeast Florida dog events and memories are captured in an artistic way.
